Cocktail

Another tool that I've found to be useful is the product form Maintain called cocktail. Cocktail is a maintenance tool for Mac OS X Leopard and Tiger. It cleans caches, logs, runs cron scripts, etc. I found it to be really helpful with keeping my computer running faster. It can also enable some interface options not available through the System Preferences panel in Mac OS X. If you can, you should really get it.
