So today, I was in the Gorham Middle School Spelling Bee. I failed on the easiest word in the whole thing, RECEIPT!!! I felt so dumb; I spelled it reciept. And, no, I didn't remember the phrase, "I before E except after C", even though receipt has a big honkin' C in the middle of it.
Oh well, there is always next year.
