You know, I think that the 3D functions in Photoshop CS4 are really dumb. I mean, who needs to make a 3D cowboy hat or a wine bottle? It was probably one of those, "We can do this, so lets put it in" features.
Also, the 3D accelerator for Photoshop requires NVIDIA graphics. However, only NEW graphics work. My Powerbook G4 or Macbook Black do not allow photoshop graphics to work, even though the Powerbook has a good graphics card. I don't see why they didn't just modify the Acrobat 3D engine to do what they wanted to do. It runs on any computer that can run Acrobat.
Just a thought.
