I have been using the NuLOOQ navigator with creative suite for years. I have found it ti be a really useful tool for designing and developing. You can assign different functions to the buttons on the top of the ring. Also, you can use the ring surrounding the dial for page navigation. The top ring also can be used, as I do, for zooming in and out of a page. there are several different toolsets for different applications that you can download that give it different functions.
Sadly, the NuLOOQ is no longer supported. Logitech, however, does make some newer models that you could look at. I plan to get a new one in the near future, but I will be sad to get rid of my NuLOOQ.
