Dreamweaver Developer Toolbox CS4

When I got the CS4 update to the Developer Toolbox, I really had a lot of trouble. It crashes frequently, and freezes up more so. At first, it wouldn't connect to a database. Then, it wouldn't let me clear the Developer Toolbox Cache. The preferences got messed up, and that presented some problems.

One good thing that I can think of is the fact that the multiple file upolader now works on Macintosh, where it only worked on windows before.

When you create something with it the first time, it will have to push up a bunch of new includes. It may take some time, but it will resolve some issues that the CS3 one had.

They are completely cross-compatible, so you should have no issues with old files.

HI Arthur...did you get your CS4 ADDT issues sorted...i'm a bit reluctant to upgrade to CS4 if its still having problems.

regards

Lee

I too experience regular lockups on Developer Toolbox CS4 on two HP workstations (one Vista, one XP) and a Mac.

A couple workstations running Dreamweaver CS4 minus any plugins fair a little better but not much.

Hopefully Adobe will release patches soon but CS3 suffered from similar issues and they never fixed that so...

I did send a ticket to Adobe about the issue a week ago, but no response yet.

Hope they fix this issue very soon.
