Produle: First Impressions

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks
I was introduced to Produle this morning, by Produle

I mostly have been playing with the layout and components. The one that I have tried the most is the Google Tracker. It can link to a Google Analytics account and add tracking to your app (I think). I'm not sure exactly what it has the capability to do, as I have only hust scratched the surface of it.

I think that they are trying to make the layout easier to use, but I have found it to be harder that Flex or Flash. Everything is crammed in on the screen, which is kind of annoying.

I can do things with xml data services, but I haven't tried that yet.

For those hard coders, there is no code view that I can find. This is annoying to me, though I get over it.

It is completely unlike Flex Builder.

Produle does have some standard Flex/Flash components, like the DataGrid and the Panel, but it also has some unique components that I have yet to explore.

As I delve deeper into Produle, I'll keep you posted on what I find.

Thanks for your inputs on Produle.
I would be interested in contacting them.
Who would be the right Produle person to start a technical discussion on their products??
I could not find any name or phone number on their site.

Best regards

R Devos

I have no idea who to contact. You're right, and their site says nothing. Try mail@produle.com. He's the one who contacted me from Produle. That's the e-mail they left me. I have no idea where it goes, though.
