Note to my loyal viewers:

Hey all!
Sometime in the next couple of days, my site will go offline for a while. This is due to the fact that we are moving the server to a new location. During that time, my site will not be up. But, after the switch, it will come back with no content loss. So, if you're from Adobe Feeds reading this, please don't unlist my site just because it goes offline for a day or two. Please, don't.

See you all after the switch!

I won't let them take my Developer Toolbox!

Well, I'll tolerate them taking Ultra, MXML, even Flash Builder... How-ever... I will not tolerate them taking away the Developer Toolbox. According to some people, the Developer Toolbox creates "Unweildey Websites" with "Too many Includes". Well, if you want a good site with a fast load, you need a lot of includes.
My other question would be, "What will they do with all the code that the Toolbox has that it can make?" Well, they will probably ditch it, though I have made a request for them to release PHP backend code to the public.
Maybe they will, maybe they won't. All I can say is that Adobe just shot another good product through the heart.

"Shot through the heart, and you're to blame, you give love, a bad name!"

Slightly Unimpressed by Leopard

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
Yessir, Leopard truly is the Apex of Mac OSX. It has all the features that you'd expect in a Mac OS, except for compatibility. We have on a macbook a version of Parallels Desktop to run Windows. Pretty straight forward, right? Well, the version of MacFUSE that we had installed, which you need for the windows partition, is "Too new for the Operating System". That is the exact message that we got from FUSE. So, we upgraded MacFUSE, and the new version wasn't too new for the OS.
The macbook is having a ton of problems with leopard, but my PowerBook isn't. I'll stick with it for the time being.

Just a thought.

Hey, I'm Finally Back!

Hello, all of my loyal viewers from Adobe Feeds. I am finally listed on the site again, and am extremely happy.
After my domain expired recently, there was a period of about eight hours where I didn't have a site. So, I was removed from feeds somehow. Well, I'm back now, and will blog some more for all of you to enjoy.

That's all for now!

Safari 4 Beta Review: First Bugs

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks
Well, today I found a bug in Safari 4. I'll tell you what it is later, but I want to right now talk about the bug reporting system. My issue revolves around the Safari preferences, and I wanted to send it to Apple. Well, when you click on the "Send Bug Report" button it assumes that your bug revolves around problems with a web page. Well, there is no button for that. There is only "Other" and when you select it, it still asks if you want to include a webpage screenshot.
My problem is pretty simple, really. In my install of Safari 4, the cookie functionality keeps switching itself off. So, every time I try to login to a site that I'm already logged in to, it sends me back to the login page because it can't write the appropriate cookie. So, I have to switch it back on.
This really isn't a significant problem, but it is pretty annoying to me.

Just a thought, as is everything I say...
