For a while, I have been searching for a good desktop application to do everything that I do on the web. Well, after several weeks of searching, I finally found a solution to my dilemma.
The solution for the short term appears to be EventBox. It really does do everything. It does Flickr uploading, Twitter, Google Reader, RSS Feeds, Digg, Reddit, OneRiot, Identica, and Facebook. Really, this thing does everything. It takes everything that comes in from any of these services and puts it into one convenient unread inbox. Pretty Convenient, Eh?
Each of these services has a different display style, making them easily discernible from each other in the inbox.

The Digg service displays the Digg topic in the box, and the number of diggs at the side. It also allows you to repost the topics via twitter or Identi.ca.

The Flickr service displays the image in a small box to the left and the image information to the right. It also allows you to see the image in a popout window at full size.

The Google Reader service syncs all of your feeds from Google Reader right into eventbox. That way, you get all of your news right in your one handy inbox. You can also repost these news items through Twitter.

The real reason I use this application is because of the Twitter feature. It collects all of your tweets, and puts them into an easy to navigate interface. You can retweet, and it automatically applies the appropriate reply tags when you select a tweet, as if you were to reply to it. The tweet input field is at the very bottom of the window, and is hideable.
All in all, EventBox is a pretty slick client for the power everythinger. Get it for yourself!
All for now!
